Leader of the Benjamin Kalu Movement in Igbere Ward C, Hon. Chief Okey Iboko (popularly known as Maduoha), has extended warm congratulations to the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, CFR, on the recent conferment of the national honour of Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
In a statement personally signed and issued from Ndieke Amankalu, Igbere, Chief Iboko lauded the Deputy Speaker for what he described as “exceptional performance and people-centered representation.”
The Publisher of SouthEast Reporters acknowledged Kalu’s instrumental role in attracting numerous development projects to Igbere and the greater Bende area.
Among the most notable achievements, Chief Iboko highlighted the establishment of two federal tertiary institutions sited in Item and Bende town—projects he said are already transforming the educational and economic landscape of the region.
According to the statement, the people of Igbere remain resolute in their loyalty and political support for the Deputy Speaker, stressing that they have consistently voted for him and will continue to do so.
“Your Excellency, come 2027, the good people of Igbere will give you full support in whatever political position you wish to pursue,” the statement read.
Chief Iboko prayed for God’s continued protection over the Deputy Speaker, expressing confidence that Kalu will continue to excel on the national stage.
