Protect the Precious Foundation has congratulated its Lead Person, Norah Nneoma Okafor, on her recent appointment as one of the 500 Girls and Women Speak Ambassadors, describing the recognition as well-deserved and inspiring.
The appointment, which places Ambassador Norah among a global cohort of passionate advocates, acknowledges her longstanding dedication to defending the rights of women and girls, especially across Abia State.
Her advocacy has been centered on dismantling harmful stereotypes, challenging negative social norms, and promoting empowerment for the girl child.
The Foundation noted that the new ambassadorial role will further amplify Norah’s voice and increase momentum for advocacy efforts aimed at protecting the dignity and rights of girls and women.
In a statement issued by the Research and Communications Officer, Ijeoma Salome Ogwurumba, the Foundation expressed confidence in Norah’s ability to make a lasting impact in this new capacity.
