Chima Anyaso Condemns Killings in Benue State, Demands Urgent Government Action

Stop Benue Killings

Businessman and political figure, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, has condemned the recent wave of violent killings in Benue State, describing the continued loss of innocent lives as senseless, unacceptable, and deeply tragic.

In a strongly worded statement issued on Monday, Dr. Anyaso expressed his grief over the escalating attacks that have devastated families and communities in the state, calling on the Federal Government and security agencies to act immediately.

“These are not just numbers or headlines—these are human lives, families, dreams, and futures being brutally cut short,” the statement read.

He lamented the silence and slow response by authorities, warning that no society can thrive when citizens live in constant fear and insecurity.

“No government can afford to treat such tragedies with silence or delay. This cycle of violence must end,” Dr. Anyaso emphasized.

He urged the relevant institutions, especially security agencies, to not only apprehend the perpetrators of the violence but to implement preventive measures that will protect lives and restore peace in Benue and other troubled regions.

Reaffirming his solidarity with the people of Benue State, Dr. Anyaso called for justice and accountability.
