Ako Obioma congratulates new Ohanaeze leadership, appeals for the release of Nnamdi Kanu

 

International business mogul,High Chief Ako Obioma (Aku bara Oha) has congratulated the newly elected President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Senator Sam Azuta-Mbata. In a statement personally signed by him,High Chief Obioma hailed the emergence of the newly elected President General and his team and urged them to face their assignment with every sense of patriotism and seriousness.

Obioma, who is the Chairman, Board of Trustees  of the Club 17 Peace Initiative also called on the Ohanaeze leadership to explore all diplomatic and non legal channels to ensure the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, pointing out that the release of the IPOB leader will drastically reduce the insecurity in the South East.

The Club 17 Peace Initiative is a group of eminent personalities,professionals and businessmen committed to the peace and progress of the South East.

High Chief Obioma advised the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo to leverage on the present positive disposition of the President Tinubu led Federal government towards the plight of Ndigbo, and also to work closely with the Deputy Speaker, Federal House of Reprentatives,His Excellency Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu CON and other top Igbo leaders and non state actors for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and other issues that are dear to the hearts of Ndigbo.
