Aba Power Limited Addresses Citywide Blackout, Outlines Plans to Restore Power Supply

Aba Power Limited (APL) has attributed the recent citywide blackout in Aba to a damaged Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) line, which has impacted their backup power supply. The company has apologized for the inconvenience caused and outlined plans to address the challenges.

According to APL, the blackout was caused by a combination of factors, including persistent gas shortages, acts of vandalism, and the damaged TCN line. “We understand the frustration and inconvenience that you may have experienced, especially with the recent power outages,” said the management.

To address the issues, APL is working to secure a stable gas supply, strengthen its infrastructure, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to restore power supply. “We are making progress with alternative gas suppliers to ensure uninterrupted power generation,” the company stated.

APL is also investing in enhanced security measures to protect its facilities from vandalism. “We are working closely with relevant stakeholders to restore power supply soon and fortify the power infrastructure,” the management added.

The company apologized for any hardship caused by the outages and assured customers that their team members are working diligently to resolve the challenges. “We sincerely apologize for any hardship the outages may have caused. We assure you that our team members are working diligently to resolve these challenges,” said the management.
